Mrs. Erica L Schmidt

Erica Schmidt is an Evansville native with over 18 years in the public relations, non-profit, and marketing and business development fields. Her career experience includes fundraising, grant writing, directing events, hospitality leadership, organizational leadership, and community outreach and engagement. Erica teaches Introduction to Public Speaking and Ethics of Global engagement. 

Erica received both her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and her Master's degree in Communications from the University of Southern Indiana. She is also a certified fundraising executive through CFRE International. 

Erica loves spending time with family and friends. They enjoy a variety of activities such as trying new foods, visiting favorite restaurants, watching movies, playing games, camping, and traveling to new places.

Erica also values serving the community, often engaging friends and family along the way. She has served on the board of directors for the Rotary Club of Evansville, SWIRCA, and Southern Indiana Non-Profit Consortium. She also serves as a coach for Girls on the Run, an empowerment program that blends physical activity with life skill development for girls in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.
