My lecture style, in all of my classes, is traditional but exuberant. I keep my students engaged by any means necessary. Thus I use everyday examples, demonstrations, odd sample problems, jokes and even interpretive dance to convey my message. My students are aggressively encouraged to ask questions, make comments, and envision connections.
In a typical year I teach the following courses:
CHEM 261 General Chemistry I
CHEM 262 General Chemistry II
CHEM 361 Survey of Physical Chemistry
CHEM 418 Chemistry Seminar III
CHEM 461 Physical Chemistry I
CHEM 462 Physical Chemistry II
CHEM 499 Introduction to Research.
