EXSC 383 Kinesiology

The study of mechanics of human body movements primarily as it relates to the interrelationships of bones, joints and muscles. Prerequisites: BIO 121 and 122

EXSC 394 Measurement and Evaluation

This course describes the development and implementation of physical and cognitive tests in physical education and exercise science. Included in the course are fundamental knowledge and techniques for data collection, analysis, and student assessment through the use of current, basic testing and evaluation methods. Prerequisites: CIS 141, MATH 111 or higher

EXSC 397 Physiology of Exercise

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the acute and chronic physiological responses and adaptations to physical activity and exercise training, as well as the effects of various factors and conditions on physical performance. Physiological principles are introduced pertaining to appropriate training programs for maximizing physical performance and lifetime physical fitness and wellness. Prerequisites: BIO 121 and 122

EXSC 476 Training Science

EXSC 477 Testing and Evaluation of Athletes

This course will cover the testing and evaluation of athletes. This will include appropriate protocol selection, administration, interpretation of laboratory and field-based measurements used commonly when testing various athletic populations. Prerequisites: EXSC 394
