My teaching philosophy is inspired by the quote from Alfred Mercier:  "What we learn with pleasure we never forget."  One of my teaching goals is to create an interactive learning environment where students engage in activities related to course concepts.  Finding ways to connect the material to students' lives is an essential way for them to apply what they've learned. With over 30 years of teaching in higher education, I am dedicated to the success of my students.
