Originally from Mexico City, Dr. Rosas Mayén’s research interests include Afro-Hispanic linguistics, anthropological linguistics, archaeological linguistics, socio-anthropology of the food, and creolistics with focus on French-based and Spanish-based creoles. She also performs Sephardic music and do photography.
